Viliami last post.

Today is the last day we get to have our Chromebooks at school for 2017. I have had a awesome year. this year, I was in Mr Goodwins literacy class,and I am in Miss Scanlan maths class. My 2 best highlights is Kauwau island and Maniakalani film festival.

Viliami immersion assembly.

Have you ever played an instrument? Today we went to the immersion assembly. And it was very very fun.

The school theme is about music and instruments. The other teams did a different Item to everybody’s. But it had to be about music.

Team four’s topic was like an apple ad, but it was a Pt England carpool music video. I think my teachers were Wonderful dancers in the car. But I think the best dancers were Mr Goodwin and Mr Somerville. Some of the songs were cool and some of the songs were so old school.

I would hope to learn about music and making my own songs and making instruments. I think this term's theme is one of the best themes I’ve ever had. Because I am into songs and instruments.  

Overall the new theme is the best theme and I think this term is going to be a fun term.

Viliami cross country.

Last friday we had our cross country fun run. Before our cross country we had to sit down on the hard court in our year lines. While we were waiting we were singing to the music that was playing.

My year was the last team to do our race. So Mr Jacobson said year 6 boys go to Mr Burt. When we were walking towards Mr Burt I was getting scared. But when Mr Burt did the clapper I didn't get scared anymore. I just did my best.

Well I was running I got tired and I wanted to stop running. I got a stitch and it was hard to breathe. I kept my pace and just jogged it. I kept on going no matter what happened. When I was running I was very thirsty. But I had to finish the race then I could have a drink of water.

I was 20 meters away from the finish line so I sprinted fast for my finish. When I ran past the finish line I was relieved that our cross country was finish. And know I don't have to think about the cross country again. And I am happy that I finished it.

In the end I was just happy that I finished it and I don't have to do it again. I just have to wait until next year but I will have to try a little bit better because it is going to be a little bit harder.

My name is Viliami and I am sick of school. I want to go to out of space. I am going to make my own little space ship. I don't tell anyone where I am going and I just blast off.

Mercury is very close to the very big hot sun, in fact it's the 1st planet closest to the sun.. So this planet is so bad. So I'm blasting off, in my own little space ship.

Venus is a very Pretty color but it is just too hot for me. So I'm blasting off, in my own little space ship.

Earth is the 3rd planet. But i’m just gonna just drive past because I’m sick of my school on earth. I'm blasting off, in my own little space ship.Mars is the 5 planet is the solar system. And it is cold at night. So i'm blasting off in my little space ship.

Jupiter is the biggest planet in the solar system. But it is to stormy for me. So I'm blasting off in my little space ship.it is famous because of the ring of the ring around it.
Saturn is the sixth planet from the sun. Saturn has a gas giant. But I'm blasting off in my spaceship.

Uranus is cold and around the outside it is icey. It is too cold for me. So i'm blasting off in my little spaceship. Neptune is blue like the smooth sea. Neptune is cold as Ice and water from the sea.

Neptune is dark, cold and very windy. it's the last planet in our solar system. It is too cold so I'm blasting off in my little space ship.

I have to return back to earth because I miss school. So kids it is good to love school. I’ve traveled a lot of times so I have to go to earth because that's the only planet I have school at.

Viliami Space Narrative.

On 4017 me and Junior moved to another planet because the earth was dieing. And it was started to get worse. Because the plants were dying and some to the people in the earth was dieing.

Arriving at our new planet the tiger planet it was scary because there was lots of tigers surrounding. So I had to run. Then I had an Idea I remembered that I had steak in my bag. So I gave him one then he liked it. I fed the tiger that all the steak in my bag that we were going to cook was all finished.

When I ran out of meat I started to get nervous and started shaking. So the tigers started chasing me and I jumped onto my rocket ship and tried to get away but I could not get away. Because the tigers ran and jumped and was on top of our rocket ship. So I knew that there is going to be big trouble.

When the tiger was on top of the roof me and junior climb on top of the rocket and pushed the tigers off the rocket ship. Then we said goodbye to the tigers well they were floating in the air.

After saying goodbye to the tigers Junior and I lived in peace in tiger land. That we had tiger ice cream. And we had fun.

Viliami Immersion Assembly

This term team 4 is going to learn about what the Maori people use as technology. We found out at the school immersion assembly. I’m excited!

The whole school's topic is about now that's thinking that is a technology theme. Team 1 - 3 had the same theme making kites. Team 5 is learning about building and creating.

Team 4 is topic is about learning about what the maori people use for technology before the pakeha came. Talking about technology I am talking about what they invented to use. Like making there own fishing rod to get some fish for their family or make there own waka.

I hope to learn and create stuff in class. In class I would want to learn how they made their spares and weapons. I hope I see one of the maori spares and weapons.

What I think about the new theme for this term I think it is pretty cool learning about staff. Because next year I wish it is the same thing.

Viliami Eating Insects

Have you ever tasted a cricket before? This morning Mrs Stickland said we were going to eat chocolate flavoured mud with crickets. I thought she was lying! I was shocked when I saw it had eyes, I realised we were going to eat crickets. When I picked one up I felt a bit sick but I was brave enough to put it in my mouth. It was crunchy like corn flakes. I’m not sure how many I ate but it was a lot. I felt a little bit sick but luckily I ate it with nutella. I really liked that experience but next I want to try and eat scorpions.

The most common lady bug found world wide is red with black spots. It is small and has 6 little legs that it uses to scurry around. When a lady bug feels scared it plays dead, what a clever Idea!

Viliami Year 5/6 Camp Writing

Our leaders for our group called the amazing chiefs is Chastity and Tuipuia. I am about to write about our year 5&6 camp.  Camp is so cool because you get to do very cool activities. I

t started on Wednesday and went up till Friday, at school. The activities that we did was, Get lost, and playing stuff in the hall, and we did some kayaking as well, and last of all Killer zone. Killer zone isn’t as scary as it sounds. Well we did chuck water balloons at each other. It was awesome! Get lost was more like an amazing race with challengers, but it was really fun. We all had to sleep in a tent with 1-3 other people inside. The people sleeping with me in my tent were Loseti and Kohatu. We sneakily hid snacks from the teachers, and ate them at night.

My favorite parts is all of the actives that I did in three days. But my most favorite is the pools on Friday the pools on Friday was very cool because there is a volcano and there a booming area to. If you jump into the pool it is so cold because when I got back home I got sick.

I would like to say thank you to the teachers and the mums for making our wonderful food. We couldn't do it without you guys.I  felt so good at camp and I am looking forward to kawa island as well but I well give camp 100%.

Have you made a worm milk shake before? I wouldn't be surprised if we ate that tomorrow, because today he fed us with chicken flavoured worms.If this sounds good come on and keep reading he must be dreaming about worms.

Viliami in to the cave.

Once upon a time there were two boys and their names were Jack and Arthur. Jack and Arthur they went hunting at night. When they were walking through the bushes they saw a cave. They walked inside the cave and they saw a very big bear come out of the cave roaring at Jack and Arthur.

 Then suddenly the bear smashed the wall and made the rocks fall down then there was no where to go and they were trapped inside the cave. Then Jack said to Arthur that they were in trouble then then Jack got his gun out and held it in the front of his face then the bear was carm.

 Then Jack and Arthur said that the bear just wants to be there friend. Jack knew that there was meat in his bag. Then Jack gave it to the bear and the bear was there friend and Jack said to the bear if he can remove the rocks so they can get out then the bear removed the rocks.

Egg 20metre Sprint By: Viliami It was a cold Monday and we had to go and line up to go to the park because we had a 20 meter race. Then Mr Bax gave me a egg and I designed it to look like a person. I was waiting to get my egg and spoon.Then Mr Bax asked me to hand out the vivids. WIth the vivids I designed my egg to have some hair and a face. Mr Baxendine said, “get ready and go.” We had to hold our egg with a spoon and run 20 meters and run back and who ever came first would win. My favorite thing was designing my egg and running with it.
